Time for eMeg to Auction Jobs

Attorney General Jerry Brown leads all opponents in the earliest of poll numbers; these results should force Republicans to change the content of their own primary or suffer a re-entry of Governor Brown to Sacramento.

I am here to tell inform you, the Republican gubernatorial candidate that can gather the strongest juxtaposed image to Jerry Brown’s, and answer the ills California GOP Conventionof California’s $30-plus billion deficit crypt, has the best chance come November of 2010.

GOP, it’s time to get to the real campaigning.

The “Moonbeam Antidote”, a candidate that can convince the state’s growing ‘decline-to-state’; independent voters that jobs are the answer to the state’s illness.

At the same time, this candidate must deliver this trust without alienating the conservative core, as Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger did after his poor performance during the 2005 initiative special election.

The Republicans need to find a candidate who can message one thing for the next few months: jobs, jobs and more jobs.

It’s time to focus on the fiscal calamity of the tax and spend operations of the majority party, and the ability to deliver a presentation that more government regulations strangles liberty, deletes economic freedom and treads upon individualism – a core desired of declined to state, independent voters.

Both Steve Poizner and Meg Whitman have the moxy to carry the water here, to the victory goes the spoils.

Earlier this week I offered my opinions on Poizner’s political resume, today I give it a go with Meg’s business background.

Whtman needs to join the primary content brigade, and if her radio ad are any indication, we may begin to hear her unwrap a fresh, new message as we journey toward the holidays.

Look for eMeg to pick herself up off of the ‘voting records fiasco’ canvass, and visit the cut-man in her corner. It’s now time to talk about jobs in a state that is losing them by the thousands each month.

No more reaction, no more taking punches; if Whitman wants this race she needs to land punches that tag her opponents on her ability to create more jobs for the citizens of California. From a resume stand-point, eMeg has a strong presentation of fulfilling that task for millions of California workers in her private sector past.

The DTS (declined to state) voters may grow tired of hearing about eBay Meg, but you can’t deny that she made lemonade from a pile of lemons.

While Meg was CEO of eBay the company grew from a mere 30 employees to over 15,000. Upwards of 1.3 million home entrepreneurs and small business people around the world make their supplement living selling on eBay.

According to a survey released in July of 2005, more than 724,000 Americans reported that eBay was their primary, in addition to these professional sellers, another 1.5 million individuals say they supplement their income by selling on eBay.

In the first six months of 2005, eBay members in the United States sold merchandise worth approximately $10.6 billion. Based on the results of AC Nielsen International Research, the number of eBay entrepreneurs in the US grew to an increased of 68-percent between the years of 2003 and 2005.

Here is an opening video of Meg Whitman “eBay Live2″ from 2005 in San Jose, California, it was a big year for Meg and her eBay creation:

“eBay’s impact on job creation in the US has been tremendous, and the health of our nation’s economy depends on employment,” said James K. Glassman, resident fellow, American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research in 2005. “A considerable amount of jobs have been created and enabled through eBay in the last few years, making it an important employment creation engine that many never considered just five years ago. The potential for entrepreneurs to realize success through eBay is significant.”

Suffice it to say, she may be preparing to go to her strengths; Meg Whitman can campaign on creating jobs, she has in the past and she should be preparing to voters feel certain that she will for California’s future – if she has any chance in this primary, then come November of 2010.

When it comes to creating jobs, as the eBay marketing campaign expresses, she may own the “it” factor in this race. Where she lacks experience is very evident – politics. It’s her achielles heel.

Whitman hasn’t been in the arena, near the arena or event purchased a ticket off of eBay for an event held in an arena. Her political experience has been writing checks to elected politicians who helped her – and her business interests – along the way.

This is why eMeg has become a, “better-late-than-never”, partisan Republican over the past few years. Her party alliliation is thin, her political resume short.

To her credit, she has started to buy seats and place herself in party position.

Whitman worked as a national co-chair and economic policy adviser for Senator John McCain and Governor Mitt Romney in 2008. Meg also stood with President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney in the “Innovators for Bush” coalition in 2004.

Whitman made contributions to numerous Democrats, including US Senator Barbara; to make amends with the GOP, she has contributed $250,000 to the California Republican Party for voter registration, and she donated $250,000 to California’s “No on Prop 5″ in 2008, revealing herself as a candidate who would be tough on crime.

Meg’s defense for her dirty dollar donations to the Democrats, “94-percent of all of Meg Whitman’s contributions have been to GOP candidates, including $1,000 to George W. Bush in 1999 and zero for Al Gore.”

In the political arean, Meg is no threat. But if she can force the content to be jobs, economy and business savvy, she has a chance to come out the victor. There are two hurdles: Steve Poizner in June, and Jerry Brown in November. Solid competition; let the real games begin.

eMeg is just another blowhard like Arnold Swizzlestick, with no political ability beyond her vast “war chest”. I’m really tired of these maniacal egos trying to buy the office of top dog without having to work their way up the ranks. All the great hype in the world will not get a buy-in from the opposition party. You just have to grow up with them to become their “friends”. The only person who could have made this work by bullying the opposition was Al Capone, because he had a way to persuade his competition to see it his way!

So without seating an entire Republican heavy legislature, eMeg would only prove to be another DOA (Dysfunctional Opposition Administration) Governor! And we all know that ain’t gonna happen!

Tom Campbell however is the most dangerous Republican on the block and with his training, education, savvy and accrued knowledge of the system, his ability to govern would prove formidable! This guy isn’t full of himself and doesn’t talk in “sound bites, Tweets and one liners”. (He lectures, but then he IS a professor!)
