Rep. Lungren Calls Out President Obama
“This is total madness,” shouts California Congressman Dan Lungren.
With the announcement that Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the self-described mastermind of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and four other men are coming to America to be prosecuted in New York City, California Congressman Dan Lungren has had enough.
Lungren, usually a conservative who parces his words carefully, has taken his rhetoric up a notch ot two, actually placing the blame at the doorstep of the White House.
Lungren was in district meeting with constituents when he called and asked for some mic-time today during the Capitol Hour on 1380 KTKZ. After we had our conversation on the air, I asked the congressman if he could give me a few extra minutes detailing his concerns, exclusively for HOGUE NEWS.
Lungren has called Attorney General Eric Holder’s announcement, ”total madness,” and detailed his sediments on this HOGUE NEWS VIDEO.
“What an insult to the memory of those who lost their lives, and their families. Mark my words; they will make a legal, political and media circus out of this. And there will be a lot of talk about the United States and the terrible things we did; that we water-boarded this mastermind of 911.”
Lungren was impassioned, “We’ll the fact is we did water-board him. And the fact of the matter is we water boarded him repeatedly. And the fact is, until we started doing this seriously, he wouldn’t give us any information. He (now) has given us information that has allowed us to protect ourselves, American citizens – our brethren in this country – from attack.”
Lungren made numerous comments about the intentions of the administration in bringing these terrorists to American soil to prosecute them; in essence giving them full Constitutional rights under our laws of liberty. Lungren referenced that America will be seen as the aggressor, the criminal in this case.
“This is what they (terrorists) want, they want to come into the midst of us, tell us how terrible we are and how proud they are that they killed some many of us. This is political correctness run amuck here.”
Lungren also placed the blame upon the White House and President Barack Obama, “This decision didn’t just come from the Attorney General, his decision could have been counter-mended by the President of the United States. In other words, it is essentially a presidential decision – and where was our President when this announcement was made? He was out of town, flying somewhere else.”
Lungren concluded with, “That ought to show you how concerned they are about the sensitivity of this…I wish they would worry less about the sensitivity, and more about the security of the American people.”
I was at Dan Lungren’s townhall meeting last night and it was awesome. Even if you were a left wing nut job, you would have had to agree with him. I was very proud on how he conducted himself and the information he provided. We must keep him in office and not lose this strong voice for our country. And this is just not suck-up because I am running next door in the 5th. We need to keep him in Congress! Great job Congressman!
Its really not senseless when considering Holder and Obama are traitors. Every thing they have been doing is to subvert American law for the purpose of helping our enemies.
We need a whole bunch of Dan Lungren’s in congress to get angry and express the same sentiments as him… to be the voice of all us Americans who are outraged at what happened at Fort Hood to what Holder and Obama are going to do with this trial. I am now convinced more then ever Obama hates America and he is with our enemies. Do not tell me that is far-fetched. Put all the pieces together… from his birth certificate being hidden, to what he wrote/said in his books… to his father being a extremist marxist muslim, to helping his cousin Odinga in Kenya to be elected as Prime Minister (after he committed genocide on Christians)… to his associations with radical domestic terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, black supremacist Jeremiah Wright, Communist Van JOnes, Marxist’s Anita Dunn, Mark Llloyd and Mark Bloom, his close ties to thugs in Chicago politics: The Chicago Political Machine, quoting from Sal Alinky’s Rules for Radicals… his association to ACORN, slipping in an interview with George Stephanopolus, stating”My muslim faith,” then correcting himself after George did! Saying America is not a Christian nation, it’s more a Muslim one. He has advisors in his cabinet who are Muslims and believe in Sharia Law… Then he states we cannot jump to conclusions about the terrorist Hasan who killed 13 of our servicemen and women and wounding over 30 more, and has ties to Al Queda… Obama is a usurper, a traitor, and a Marxist extremist-muslim.
The usurper-in-chief has taken this too far. I applaud Rep. Lungren for speaking out. Now if we can get about 540 more Lungrens this country will be on the right track.
Hoorah for Dan Lundgren! Makes me proud to be in his district. My hope and prayer is that he truly is the voice of ALL America and more will follow his lead.
ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT REP DAN LUNGREN IS RIGHT ON. i CANNOT U NDERSTAND THE DECISION TO HOLD THIS TRIAL WITHIN THIS COUNTRY LET ALONE NEW YORK CITY. THESE ACTS DEMAND A TRIAL WHEREIN JUSTICE IS METED OUT COMMENSURATE WITH THE DEEDS DONE, AND AS THESE ACTS GROW MORE AND MORE HEINOUS, OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM WITHIN THIS COUNTRY WILL JUST BE MAKE A MOCKERY OF. PRESIDENT OBAMA IS LEADING THIS COUNTRY INTO DARK WATERS AND WE ARE GROWING CLOSER AND CLOSER TO THE POINT OF NO RETURN. AMERICANS, PLEASE WAKE UP. THIS IS NOT ABOUT RACISM OR CLASSISM, IT IS ABOUT FREEDOM AND UPHOLDING THE RIGHTS OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLEAS WE HAVE COME TO KNOW AND ENJOY THEM.
Giving Dan Lungren credit. He has been on the right side of Illegal Immigration, he was one of the first to do a Town Hall Meeting and Dan has been Conservative on Taxes. Dan also endorsed John McCain in the Primary which I found to be very RINO of him.
I like Dan except he talks to much when he does a Town Hall. Trying to be the smartest kid in the class Dan needs to listen more.
Republicans like Dan Lungren would do well to scream from the Mountian Tops to Drill and Build Nuke Power Plants. With the Dollar crashing what will happen to energy prices? Should un-employment return to under 7%. What will happen to energy prices?
Maybe the Republican Motto should be Drill Ya Stupid Hippies….
Republicans should be asking about all of those stimulus Dollars. Will Republican allow those Dollars to be used by Obama Democrats to buy votes in the 2010 eletion cycle?
